Specifications follow Apple’s published tech specs for the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M3 Pro introduced November 2023. The 11-core CPU and 14-core GPU describe the base M3 Pro tier; 18-core GPU and higher memory options exist on other configs. “MacBook Pro 14” without M3 Pro in the string can be M3, M4, or Max — those are different machines for battery and GPU.
Unified memory is the buying decision. 18GB is the base we list. If you keep 4K timelines, large Lightroom catalogs, or several Xcode simulators, buy 36GB now. There is no SODIMM later. 512GB SSD is acceptable with iCloud and an external disk; bump storage if you keep raw camera cards local. Apple’s battery and display numbers are tied to the exact chip and panel — read the tech specs sheet for the config in the cart.
The Liquid Retina XDR panel is why this is in the Creator category rather than a generic ultrabook list. 3024×1964 at 14.2 inches with ProMotion is a grading-friendly screen in a bag.
